I've been painting scarves since 1985. Trained the old-school way — drawing, painting, printmaking in Italy — before I ever touched a scarf. For 16 years, Barneys and Nordstrom carried my work. Then I lost my studio on 9/11 and stepped away for a while.
I came back in 2018. Still designing every piece myself — some hand-painted, some digital, always starting with my own hand and eye.
The cashmere? Hand-painted by artisans in Jaipur, from my designs. The silk and velvet? Printed from my art, made in China and Italy so more people can actually afford to wear it.
